ULTRACEM is produced by Grinding Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) with a high degree of smoothness to form Ground Granulated Blast furnace Slag (GGBS). GGBFS is a sustainable building material to be used in concrete making as partial cement substitution. The raw material for GGBFS is obtained by quenching molten iron blast furnace slag in water or stream. The use of ULTRACEM in concrete will reduce COâ‚‚ emissions by over 900 kg per ton of Ordinary Portland Cement. ULTRACEM is new, custom-engineered and manufactured in two grades (Grade 100 and Grade 120) in accordance with ASTM C989-04 and SNI 6385:2016 standard.
ULTRACEM is non-clinker cementitious material to be used in concrete making as partial cement substitution with low heat and durability advantage.
